November wrap-up
Not quite the end of the month, but I'm expecting basically nothing else to happen tomorrow on a Sunday. In terms of my goals last month, I did not return to journaling, unfortunately, but I've been trying to keep up with my site diary at the very least. I have been doing exercise almost daily (on weekdays anyway) since getting my miniature treadmill, and doing more cooking in my rice cooker.
Although I didn't finish my deviantART mock page, I did do my second template, and third ... and to be fair, with my website gutting, that took a shelved priority.
Website Wise
- My second and third templates are released now!
- ... I realize the fonts for the headers are broken since I got rid of some of my old fonts, oopsies. Might have to host those through filegarden instead so I don't keep them locally
- Re-gutted my entire site to rewrite the code to be more clean. Added GIF toggles, some screen reader compatibility, and just cleaner CSS to make it easier for me to set up new pages. Appearance-wise it hasn't changed too much, outside of adding some new decorative elements
Personal
- I begun a forum with Joro called Treefort! It's been just a lowkey and chill place to hang out with people who want slower, asynchronous communication
- Finally got my contract work to start ... I've been working on it for two weeks now, and hopefully will be done with this one in the next two weeks
- Ough the minecraft bug bit me again ... I finally got to try out modding, and shader packs, and it's been making me happy
- I'm excited for the new Warframe story release coming out next month, and the new The Amazing Digital Circus episode as well
- I turned older LOL, my birthday was mid-month and I'm not too far off being 30 myself soon enough
Goals
- Updating my neighbours page in full, since I've been behind on fully finalizing that ...
- Finishing my GIFs to toggle, since I'm using Solaria's GIF toggler and it needs stuff to be converted to PNG first ... definitely dread doing it for my stamps and blinkies mostly just due to the number of them
- Add new food log images, since I have a few I haven't added to the page yet
- Add a new review for Dispatch, cause I love that game
- Try to use my microblog more; it's hard because I tend to just yap in a singular place, and not crosspost ... personal posts? For posting art it makes sense, for posting just random shit that passes through my head, it's a lot harder to even remember to add it to Pillowfort or my microblog
- Upload my templates to VGen and Ko-fi, (and I guess by secondary extension more of my carrds), just for anyone who'd like to tip for them
Man, wild to think next month is the last month of 2025. It sure was a Year ... well in a way it was, this year was when I joined the indie web, and although it still feels like shit in some places, being able to be part of this community has helped me a lot and unlocked a new part of myself.
